Buford Davis, the general contractor on This Ol Trailer,
has been renovating houses since he was a child. His first major project, working alongside his dad and brother, was installing handicapped access for his ailing grandmother for her 1954 Streamline. "It took us two years, and I felt such pride in what we had accomplished that I knew I wanted to do this for a living," says Buford.
Davis Brothers Construction, made up of Buford, his brothers and his nephew has been the premier construction firm in Butler County for the last 20 years. Buford says, "Each job is unique and different, which
is just what I like. Besides loving my work, I've made good friends in the entire crew of This Ol Trailer, and it's been a rewarding experience." A Pennsylvania native, avid softball player and hunter,
Buford lives with his wife, daughter and son in a 1973 Trinity he continues to renovate in a town north of Renfrew. |
